They will then send you an email in order to activate an online account they will have set up for you. Once your online account is activated you will be able to send money to the account in the overseas bank. There are no fees nor commissions charged for transferring money internationally if you use the Rational FX online service. Some recipient banks do however charge a fee. You will have to make yourself aware of any such charges. The minimum amount of money you can transfer when using the services of Rational FX is 100 pounds. If you are using a card to make the transfer the maximum amount is 5,000 pounds. When using the Rational FX online service to transfer money there is a maximum of 50,000 pounds at any one time.
It should take no longer than two or three working days to transfer money from Rational FX to another bank account. Rational FX will forward the money on the same day the transfer is requested but other banks sometimes take a little longer to process the transaction.
